Yesterday I wanted to talk in person with my colleague about how we were going to succeed at our goal. I thought I was so clever for thinking of the question. Today I got the chance and to my surprise, my colleague gave a very good answer for a plan of attack! My 'frame' I had in my mind about them completely shattered - that they had no plan and were simply strictly following the 'rules'. I encouraged her to share her plan with other people. This has greatly strengthened my gratitude for my colleagues. I felt so good about doing together and the negativity I had in my mind before vanished.
