If you want the richest experience from the meditation I do, I would highly recommend visiting the Main Centre in Nonsan, South Korea. I visited there before in mid 2019 and went back there this year. It was absolutely amazing.
A group of us went from Mandurah centre, people from all over the world came as well - from USA, India, Vietnam and other countries.
One morning we were given a bus tour of Nonsan. The Buddhist temples up the side of the mountain were highly decorated and quite striking. (I have practiced Buddhist meditation before, but the meditation I do now is a different one.)
Davia Coffee - a coffee shop at the main centre - was a great place for coffee, awesome bread and meetings.
I bought my partner some gifts from the gift shop and someone from the same country as her was kind enough to post them to her.
During weekdays it was more quiet, with the busiest period on weekends.
The love was overflowing - even showing up in unexpected places!
We had the opportunity to participate in a photo shoot for a website for foreigners about the main centre .
On a day off we took a hike up the nearby mountain.
The cost of the stay is very affordable even though it fully includes food and accommodation - one way costs are kept down is the opportunity to help out. It is quite fun and actually helps with our own meditation - it's the mind of doing together and helping others. A few of us got to help out at the nearby vineyard.
I meditated with my partner remotely via text most nights.
The meditation was so amazing and powerful that even over two weeks after getting back, I'm still adjusting to the new me.
Now go check it out for yourself, you won't regret it! 😃
Love seeing photos of Main Centre! Thank you Chris 👏 🫠
